5.) Contact City Council
Remind them: they are not medical professionals and they bear legal responsibility for this decision. Ask them to follow the precautionary principle: If you don’t know, don’t do it. Ask them to be fiscally responsible, especially as we face a $44M budget deficit.
Download a Letter to Send to Council
We have created 2 versions of a letter to fill in and send to Regina City Council about stopping fluoridation - there are full-page and half-page versions of each letter - and hey are based on studies shared on our
public Facebook page.

If you want us to include your letter in the public permanent record at Regina City Council’s budget meeting in December, please send us a copy (minus your signature and contact information), at info@reginasafewater.ca, giving us permission to include your letter with others. Alternatively, you can deliver yours to City Hall.
NOTE:
If you make any changes, please make sure the quote is clearly attributed to Dr. Lee Ko and Dr.
Kathleen Thiessen (2015).
We want to encourage everyone to contact City Council, whether by letter, email or phone, to ask
them to remove fluoridation from the budget, because Regina can’t afford it!
We are Regina Safe Water Advocates, Inc., and we look forward to collaborating with you to educate citizens and protect all our loved ones from the dangers of having toxic waste in the water!
